Make up your own cartoon, this is one I played around with for Hamlet, excellent way for the pupils to familiarise themselves with what they have learned, they can sign up for free and create their own images.

Elgg is a social networking framework. It provides the necessary functionality to allow you to run your own social networking site, whether publicly (like Facebook) or internally on a networked intranet (like Microsoft Sharepoint).

Edmodo provides teachers and students with a secure and easy way to post classroom materials, share links and videos, and access homework, grades and school notices. Teachers and students can store and share all forms of digital content – blogs, links, pictures, video, documents, presentations, and more. It is an excellent resource and will most certainly be used in excess in the future.
